i read on battlelog that if you aim at a wall or obstruction, it will detonate 3 yards past the target, so its supposed to be for getting people behind obstructions

I think they should just take out the .50 cals. Pointless to have them in the game if you treat them like .22lr bullets.

I hope to God the more people unlock the other launchers, the more they will at least try to take out tanks and aircraft. Its nearly impossible on Rush

The .50 cals on the vehicles felt like they did more damage in the beta. I feel like they are okay in the game as the passenger in a tank, but the LMG as the secondary choice as the driver is weak as frick.

I believe it's only a 7.62 round so yeah it's not that great

I've got sniping down pat at 200 & 300 meters.
Last night a guy spawned on his teammate on top of those werehouses on the map with all the tanks and I got a double headshot
Proof and I were wrecking fools.

I can't get the toggle down. I have no gauge of how far away people are. Once I can get a better scope, I'll be able to do it the old fashioned way.

That may be the 7.62x54R, which is much more powerful, but I can't find any confirmation. The 54R is still used in many belt fed MGs around the world.
.308/7.62x51 for the US side, which is the same round that most of the sniper rifles use.

also, agree with the tank mounted machine gun.....sometimes too many rounds to kill a running enemy. frustrating.

Sniping is fricking stupid in this game. I mean its great that they want to do what ARMA does and add zeroing and all that, but they took it way too far with the bullet drop. Its at least 6-8in per 100 meters, its just outrageous.
