No, this is standard now. Sony will watch for the Scorpio features that piss everyone off and then go remove them from Neo.

Sony really gut punched Xbox on the introduction of these consoles. I think the RAM differences would have not been enough for the sales figure delta by itself. They lit up the masses with the DRM angle/price and off it went into history. Sony changed their talking points on the fly that E3.
Not to start a console war, but Xbox has done a better job improving their console compared to Sony. Still of course limited by the hardware.

I think IGN will stream everything. I'll watch on whatever Giant Bomb has going, but they talk over the conferences, so that might be everyone's taste.

I found it perfect last year. It's better not to take these conferences too seriously and the stream quality usually isn't that great anyway.
