They are trying to start E3 early i guess. not sure what to expect. will prob wind up watching the recording later.

Is this another stupid gimmick like the Virtual Boy or could it be a legit gamechanger? I'm leaning towards gimmick right now.

I was listening to a podcast last night and they were talking about how they think if it garners mass appeal from gamers first then it might just succeed.
They compared to the Xbox One/PS4 launch. MS targeted a mass audience & Sony targeted gamers first. We have seen how that has panned out.
The Microsoft partnership (?) is interesting because I thought they would consider Oculus a competitor to Hololens.
