FPS Metroid like though. Prime has through the roof reviews, but I like the platforming elements

It works really well, although the platforming can be a headache to a somewhat archaic control scheme and the hud getting in the way. However, I heard that the prime trilogy they released is actually what they released on the Wii with the motion controls and not the GC versions, so nothing that would actually interest me.

Only played Prime 1&2, but loved both just as much as the sidescroller ones.

it's a very sophisticated SNES game. side scrolling, but non linear.

and so far it is living up to that billing.

I know everyone hates other M, but that shite felt so much like a Nintendo game, simple controls, context appropriate mechanisms getting the most out of the control scheme. I started at 10 a.m. yesterday and couldn't stop until I beat it (I took a couple of breaks)...which was midnight.

I have no doubt, but FPS platforming just doesn't sound fun, but I see on release IGN (when they didn't suck) gave prime a 9.7...so it's obviously the tits

I was under the impression that wasn't the case, but I hope so.

I don't see why not, the game is on my wii u menu rather than my wii menu

Regardless, I love the wii remote. I also have a GameCube controller

They may have but I just downloadeded it this morning and it's playing fine. I wish it was on a different engine such as a emulator so I could get it on my hacked PS3 or Ouya to play on my TV.
