i'm currently addicted to Metroid
so if there is a Zelda launch, Mario within 6 months and Metroid within 6 months...splooge, i'm buying it.

between my 3ds and wii u I have 30 years of Nintendo and a nice assortment of games I haven't played
so the rumors give me an n64 style boner...cartridges/virtual downloads...hybrid...VR...excellent price point...launch lineup with Mario and Zelda (Metroid would seal the fricking deal)
this is the first time in a long time a console felt like it was truly a leap forward.

I didn't even consider my 3ds games being compatible. That shite would seal the deal.

I was going to say, if they release a Zelda I'm sold, but who am I kidding, I'm going to buy it regardless. I love my wiiu and Nintendo in general.

yeah, but I have enough Nintendo on wii/wiiu and 3ds to qualify as a "history of Nintendo" exhibit
only thing I don't have is duck hunt, spyhunter and commando for NES
so they need a library to go with the system. I think wii had a pretty kick arse library all around, but it was all first party shite...punchout on wii is fricking awesome

breath of the wild is a launch title BTW
if the rumors of cartridges are true, can you imagine unboxing it, and popping in a gold cartridge that is a brand new Zelda

Zelda is a confirmed launch title and there's enough smoke about Mario to count that one
Metroid just released a 3ds game that had an interesting tease at the end...I don't think it is far fetched to believe a Metroid prime 4 is in the works at retro.

I was reading that Retro was done with Metroid. Was talked about a lot on the NX rumor mill on Neogaf. According to the rumor they want to make something else other than Metroid.
Prime 4 is going to happen though, it's just a matter of when and by who. Could be the federation force team, they're rumored to have a finished NX project.
