Just googled persona 5 and it looks miserable. When I said great RPG I meant witcher/elder scrolls type RPG. Not some cartoon

Persona 5 will be amazing.
If you are looking at more of WRPGs Horizon is adventure with RPG elements but everyone that has played it has had great things.
FFXV is mostly open world and looking more like a WRPG.

I'm really hyped for Cyberpunk 2077 but I think we are looking at earliest being 2018 maybe 2019 for that game. I think it will be a lot like GTA5 was released right before next gen.

The are supposed to be working on a project that is something "new" for them that will be release before 2077.

If you can get over FF 15's JRPG elements, I am convinced FF15 will be great.
I hate that it isn't turn based but what they have shown lately looks promising.

I thought that was Grewnt. They have been working on Cyberpunk since 2012. They just finished Witcher 3 expansion which was pretty much a whole new game. I do wonder how far Cyberpunk is in development since we haven't heard anything on it in a while. I wouldn't be shocked if they cancelled Cyberpunk.

The Devs had said that they are not releasing any info until they are closer to actually releasing it. It is in the works but not the main focus, it was dumb to show the trailer as soon as they did, but as much as they get asked about it they know it will sell very well.

no chance of this.
they are full steam ahead on Cyberpunk now and development is in full swing. I wouldnt be surprised if the past 4-5 years were spent purely on concepts, art direction, voice recording, storyboarding, etc.

It looks miserable because of the graphical style?
For Western RPGs, you don't have a ton of options. Mass Effect, Cyberpunk, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided are the only ones I know of that should be good.
