I won't buy ANY episodic game. Just not going to do it.
I blame fracking Harry Potter. Splitting one book into multiple movies. Gave other studios the same damn idea. We get small books split into multiple parts.
Now they are just jumping to gaming.
They destroyed the Hobbit with that crap so going forward, I'm not watching the split movie crap (unless Dark Tower) and I refuse to play a game this way.

I'm a huge fan of the franchise. I wish it wasn't episodic, but I'll still buy it.
I guess episodic games really depend on your personality and gaming style. For example, the episodic release of the first The Walking Dead game from Telltale added to the experience for me. I would have never got that yearning and anticipation for the next episode had it been released all at once. So in my case, I don't think releasing them in episodes is the end of the world.

It works for those games since they are more like watching a TV show anyway. The only complaint I have about that is how erratic they are with their release schedule.

This, if they release this way I will just wait until they are all released and then pick it up in the next sale.

They can't top Blood Money, I tried playing Absolution the other day and it just couldn't cut it. :(

I agree. They tried to give it more of a story so to speak but in doing so they took away part of what made hitman so much fun. I still play blood money and even after 10 years it's still fun.

Yup. See the PC game Kentucky Route Zero. Great game, but good god is the episode release dates are getting ridiculous.
