4th and 2 at my 30 in a 0-0 game and you go for it in the 1st qtr?
you score a td with :05 seconds left in the game to tie and you go for 2 to win?
Not really the kinda league I wanted to be in. I guess take this is my resignation.. I'm not mad, just not my cup of tea.

Shootout with GeauxTigersGo and the Patriots pull out the W getting a TD with 5 seconds left on 4th and 1 at the 3 with the FB dive!!! We were then down 31-30 and decided to go for 2 and Dion Lewis gets the 2 pt conversion and the Pats escape Dallas with the huge win and improve to 4-0!!!

Umm in the rules I clearly put in 4th and 2 beyond the 50 you can go for it anytime. And you can go for the win at the end. Teams do it all the time? Dont trip bro, it was a great game, I just didnt want to play OT on the road... it was win or lose for me...
Eta: when I went for it on 4th and 2 at the 30 I got it, but the next play threw an INT, not like it played a factor in the game anyway. Plus I was in no mans land and the Patriots go for that ALOT

That is kinda bullshite.
I don't see how you can complain about someone going for two to win or lose the game though. That's completely realistic.

I didn't say it was against the rules. It's within the rules.
But if you want to be "realistic", that's not really realistic.
The eventual result has nothing to do with this. You seem to lack the understanding of precedent.

And it is totally realistic. Ive seen it happen plenty of times. If im on the other side of the 50 I punt. If its 4th and 3 I kick the FG simple. It was 4th and 2 at the 30 so I went for it. Its in the rules guy.

I can understand going for the 2 point conversion. However, 4th and 2 at the 30 in the 1st quarter? 99% of the time, teams are taking the FG.

Ok then we will take a league wide vote then. To change to 4th and 2 rule past the 50. Suggestions on what the rule should be?

Dude, I don't think he's being too defensive. He's right, you want realistic, we all do and I know my friends enjoy playing in this league but come on now. Short of your kicker being hurt, every team is taking the FG right there.
