New MW3 game modes

Anyone heard anything about this? IGN posted they were supposed to release something today... or maybe they were talking about Friday?

Hopefully they are pulling gun game out of private matches only. I used to play that on a modded mw2 server and loved it

Fianlly!! They should have done this from the beginning. This is one of the main reasons I haven't been playing as much hardcore as I normally do.

I've never gotten into HC, but isn't that kinda the point...that you have to be careful because you can harm teammates? While I like that it eliminates douchenozzles from doing it to their teams, it kinda defeats one of the purposes of HC.

think it is funny to constantly kill their own team. LESI doesn't play hardcore so I usually don't have a full team to run with when I play it so I have to worry about the randoms. The only penalty is a longer spawn time. Ricochet stops that nonsense and has really helped that aspect of hardcore, imo.

About damn time. Really getting tired of joining hardcore s&d just to have some people constantly blow me up with c4 or rocket launcher. That and the fact that when I leave, matchmaker keeps matching me into the same game.

I'm always down, Jeffo. The new modes though don't seem to be in the public playlists yet even though there was an update. I could only find drop zone in private. Based on the link that Finch posted, it was supposed to be public so not sure on that.

Boy am I glad they did this instead of fixing the spawns or balancing out the two most over powered guns in the game.

The best laughs I ever had on COD4 was playing hardcore S&D and as soon as the match started pulling out the rpg and aiming straight down and killing my own team.
