Just read that EA dropped that game from publishing ti, any idea why and when they might pick that option back up?

Somehow the CBB game gets worse every year. If I had to guess, this year's edition was so densely packed with awful that it collapsed into itself creating a black hole of pure suck. This (hopefully) destroyed everyone and everything involved in creating it.
Maybe now 2k Sports can get back into college basketball.

I heard the NCAA's licensing fee was so high that neither 2K or EA thought a college basketball game would sell enough to be worth paying it.

Yeah, the college basketball games just don't sell that well especially when you consider the steep cost of licensing.

The only two NCAA Basketball games I owned were both horrible. The year with Morrison on the cover and 2010 last year. Played them maybe 5 times til they turned into a drink coaster.
