Lets here how your dynasty is going so far (online or offline).

Just completed year 1 of my dynasty as lsu.

Struggled against tcu (this was my first game ever played). Had to come back from a 17-0 start to win 28-17. After that I began to roll. My defense was pretty dominate throughout the year, while my offense was up and down. I didn't really get tested until Bama. It took 2 OTs to beat them and claim the #1 ranking. After Bama I struggled with aTm and Arkansas but got the win.

Played Florida again in the sec championship and their defense shut me down. I won 12-10 on 4 FGs...really good game.

Earned myself a spot in the NC against undefeated Texas and they wore my arse out. I couldn't stop them and couldn't get anything going early on offense. I ended up coming back and making it a game but still lost by 10.

Had a few all Americans on defense, with rasco getting multiple honors.

Recruiting was a entirely different story. I love the new recruiting, but I will have to change it up to stay afloat. I only signed 7 players.

Recruiting is looking good for year 2 though. I am leading on about 10 guys. If I can hold on and sign 15 or so I should be ok. Otherwise next year will suck.

What difficulty are you playing on?

I'm at the SEC championship on Heisman. Still undefeated, but it certainly hasn't been easy.

Playing as LSU, lost to Alabama 64-62 in 3OT on a bullshite drop on my 2-point conversion. Lost the Heisman to Bell from Oklahoma, even though Mett almost had 1,500 yds rushing and 3000 passing, 50 tds total.

I'm bitter.

If you can run the read option, you'll put up these kinds of numbers. This game isn't hard....

Played 2 seasons as OC at Tulane only losses were in bowl games.

Played 2 seasons as OC at LSU won back to back NCs.

About to start my first year as HC at USC.

I play on Heisman...probably won't play defense as a HC so I'll probably win the NC lol

I play on heisman with sliders from operation sports. Games are pretty realistic. I don't have the issues stopping other teams from passing that other people seem to have. Rarely blitz, I can get pressure with rasco and hunter pretty good. Against good teams I have more trouble getting to their qbs and them completing passes, but they aren't going 25 for 27 on me.

why don't you use Jennings to run the read option.

and no. I'm not being racist.

I am starting Jennings in year 2 over rivers (I think rivers is 90 and Jennings is 83). Their passing numbers are close to the same so I'm not missing much not having rivers.

I'm not great at running the different options though. Even if I make the correct read I usually get 3-4 yards.

It contributes as much as you saying the game isn't hard.

In answer to your question, I red-shirted Jennings, and he was set to start season 2. However, I have a 95 speed athlete that I recruited and he's shredding. It's almost not fair.

How are you doing in recruiting?

In year 1, like I said I only pulled in 7 guys. They filled some needs but I'm lacking depth and will be in serious trouble 2 years down the road if I don't improve.

For year 2 I targeted like 15. I got 1 instant commit and put the max points on the players that I have big needs for. It seems to be working bc I'm leading on most of them, and the ones I'm not I'm right behind in 2nd.

Then the remaining 7 or so guys I split the points between. I'm leading on a bunch of those also bc they aren't being recruited hard. Some of them are 3 starts and rated in the upper 60's but that's better than signing nobody I suppose.

Lucky for me lsu is deep and I kept all my juniors from leaving for the draft. So there were no issues with not signing guys this season. I will also skate by next year with crappy recruiting, but after that, if I can't get it together, I will have more needs then guys I can sign.

Ideally you want to target around 15-18 guys because that allows you to spread a lot of points around. I started at 18 and got left behind with three recruits by week 6 and the rest I'm either in the lead or top 2.

I only pulled 8 in year 1, and it looks like I'll be around 10-12 this year. Fullbacks are fricking impossible to recruit.

I invest max points in need positions, and freak speed/catching/other stat. Then I allocated remaing points where things are C grades, or have several juniors.

Yeah I needed 2 fbs and got locked out on all I tried last year. I recruited some TEs though and change them to fb... That seems to be the way to go. Except now this year I'm searching for TEs.
