but building upon it.

they've always been "building upon it"

the problem is the entire next gen was built on a shitty platform that continues to this day

they rushed to get out that first madden, and never overhauled the inferior initial product

Also: I hear people complain sometimes about them wasting time adding visual improvements when they could be enhancing gameplay - believe me, they have different teams doing both. It's an invalid argument

they really don't work on gameplay and the physics/engine that much

I can't wait to press the A button ten times now instead of 5 to skip the pre game cut scenes.

+1 it's cool like the first 2 times I play. they need to work on gameplay, cause it sucks.

+1

I really hope they have improved simple animations, like the players RUNNING... Maybe it's just me, but I feel like the way the players actually run in the game looks like a bunch of a little robots. The running motion doesn't loook realistic at all to me. It's so choppy and unnatural. I actually think they did a better job with this for the PS2 games. Can't wait for the demo, but if they havent made some major gameplay improvements, i won't be buying it for a 2nd year in a row

yeah teh ps2 games look more real in terms of movements, b/c it's based on a much better engine

what's funny is i started playing nfl 2k1 on dreamcast and its' animations are so much better than those in the "next gen"

these games are flawed b/c tehy were built from a rushed, flawed engine. EA knows idiots will keep buying it, so they don't change anything. they add stupid shite and don't touch the gameplay

the only worthwhile addition is online dynasties, which STILL has nothing to do with the underlying game

Most realistic football sim ever created to date.

Yeah, well this guy is one idiot who is boycotting the game until they fix some things. I bought FIFA 10 last year, and i was blown away at how much better and realisitc its gameplay is. I kept asking myself why can't football games look this good?

NCAA needs to try and imitate their "futbol" counterpart, as everything I hate about NCAA is what I love about FIFA.

Still need the running through the T.

I agree with this. I was mad last year when I would play Tenn on the road and running through the T wasn't there. That's one of the best college football traditions. As an Lsu fan, I love Mike in the cage circling the field. with the win bar and band animations that hopefully sync up with custom sounds, this game is going to be epic. I can't wait to see the rosters too. Lsu should be top 5 and loaded.

I would appreciate it if they fixed the running animations. Say that a RB broke a 20 yard run for a TD, then the replay would show. That replay would show the RB, DB, WR, SS, FS all running in the exact same robotic motion, just doesn't look fluid

Also would be nice to see the entire replay on long plays like a pick 6 inside your own redzone or a toss sweep from your own 15, etc..I hate when I break one and all I see is the last 20 yards running a straight line.
