I am kind of new to the NBA 2K games, I bought NBA 2K15 in March of this year, and I really liked it so I bought NBA 2K16. I like the myteam part of the game. A couple questions for the 2K veterans on here.

1. How do you get Historical Players cards? I see them in the auction, but I do not see the packs for just the historical players. I know last year they had about 7 or 8 pack choices and one of the packs just contained historical players. Currently I only have 3 pack choices, is this something that they gradually add more packs over time?

2. Dynamic Player Cards, I have managed to pull 2 of these, and I see them in the Auction house at 2 times the price as the players regular card, Why? From what I see the stats are the same. I have tried to google this and I have not found much on them, so far what I think I have figured out is that their stat's will change accordingly to the NBA season? not sure if that is correct.

3. Is there an easier way to earn MT? I am up to team number #17 on domination and earn about 625 to 700 MT per game, Steph Curry sells in the Auction house for about $75,000 MT, at this rate it's going to take about 107 games just to earn enough MT to buy the card. Am I missing something? no way you can earn enough MT by just playing the games to complete card collections. Any pointers would be appreciated.

- I am trying not to buy VC for packs, I got sucked into 2K15 trying to get the Diamond Iverson card, and after about $300 real money, and I still was not able to complete enough to get the card.

1- Not sure, but the weekly games are not open yet to my knowledge. Maybe some will be in there once they do the weekly games.

2- No Idea. I'd like to know that too.

3- You get MT bonuses for 50 & 100 cards in your collection. 10k and then 15k. I pulled a Klay Thompson from a pack, then bought cheap gold players like Z Bo, Tim Duncan, Gordon Hayward, Tyreke Evans and Mike Conley.

1. Historic players - These and the ROTY players are found via Rune packs. Rune packs are hidden that I only found out about roughly a week after the game came out. You have to collect 5 runes and then a "black market" opens up. You are not guaranteed anything out of these packs, but the special cards you see (Legends,ROTY, etc.) have come from here. In order to obtain a rune, you have to visually inspect all 4 corners of each player card. There is no rhyme or reason to who holds a Rune. It's just pure luck. Once you obtain the 5 runes, the black market opens up BUT it is only open for 4 hours, so make sure you have all your ducks in a row (VC and/or MT points ready to spend). You can google or YouTube NBA 2K16 Black Market for more information I am sure.

2. A Dynamic player card is a GREAT card to have depending on what player you have it on. Essentially having a dynamic player card means that however that player progresses throughout the season, those new ratings will reflect on that card and not the base card. So if you have a silver Kyle Korver (like I do), it's not out of the question to have high hopes because you know that he could easily get upgraded to a gold at some point in the season. Adversely, if you have a dynamic card for someone like Jeff Teague and he shits the bed, his ratings will reflect it. This is essentially why they are going for nearly double the amount of their base card.

3. There is no easy way to earn MT. Everything is a grind to earn them. It's sort of their way of pushing you to buy VC. Now, I don't know where you can do it safely, but I know that you can buy MT points for actual money instead of spending that money on VC. I would assume the going rate is $20 per 100K MT points. Should be somewhat on par with NHL HUT, FIFA UT, and Madden UT pricing.

Thanks for the information, I was able to find the Runes on youtube, and was able to get in the Black Market. I have noticed that so far each team has 1 player card that has a rune on it.

This sounds pretty cool, I am thinking it might be wise to buy only players going cheap in the auction house at the moment and stay away from the high dollar cards until after the season starts to see if they drop in Value.

Thanks again for the Info, I have found a few of these Websites and MT for 2k16 is crazy expensive, some of the one's that I have found is like $50,000 MT for $45, and goes up to $500,000 MT for $3600. I guess I will keep grinding away and try to complete each team 1 card at a time from buy low in the auction house.

I know it's a crap shoot, but I would stay away from the guys who are already highly rated as there is no real reward for them IF they get upgraded any further. Especially since they are already high priced. I was able to snag a Dynamic Korver for 8,000 MT points on the auction block. However, I have no plans on selling him at all. I think buying the low ones is a great way to either get a good lineup, or make some very nice MT change from them.

If you can scrap 5-4k MT together, you can start buying low and selling high on the low tier golds.

Now that I have 7 golds for my lineup I am going to start doing this.

You search a lower tier guy that averages selling for 4-5k and wait for some shmuck to put him up for 3k. Buy him and immediately resell at a 1-2k profit.

rinse and repeat. Worst case scenario is you sell him cheaper than you want because no one is biting.
