I've been over the COD hate for a while. I don't like it, won't play it, and that's that. But I get why people still do.

There was a good article on IGN about how it's the most hated yet most popular game. It's not really even a shooter anymore. It's more comparible to a sports game. It's a proven winning formula that you know people will play, so you would be dumb to tinker with it too much. But you just jump in and start playing. Really simple, and you can compete right away. That's what a lot of people want.

That's actually not a bad analogy from sic. "Rawdogging" was meant in quality of the game, not number of players. Adam Sandler is going to get over $100MM if he puts himself dropping dueces in teh bathroom for two hours on film.

Other than total sales numbers or of players online how else do you measure success?

I never said it wasn't successful.

Would you like to bet that BLOPS 2 out sells BF 4 (on next Gen or not)?

It will be a lot closer after BF3 proved itself to a lot of players, but I wouldn't be surprised if BLOPS2 still wins the sales numbers.

I'm on board with referring to Inifinty Ward as Adam Sandler.

but that's your opinion

The sales numbers mean nothing at this point. What are people playing? Looks like COD still dominates. Look at the success of MW2. That game came out 3 years ago and is right there with BF3 in terms of popularity.

You have a fascination with cloak bro. Its not as widely used as ghost or hardline.

Have you played a single second?

Popularity would've been a better word.
