Most blood echoes you lost in one run?

I wanted to chime in on the thread a couple weeks ago about frustrating games but I was too busy trying to conquer my nemesis Bloodborne. Over the last 2 years I have tried to play Bloodborne only to quit on the streets of Central Yharnam. Rinse and repeat every 3-6 months. A couple months ago I swore to myself I was not going to let one game get the best of me so I started a new build from the beginning, and a hunter I became. Fast forward to today, I’ve cleared the Forbidden Woods and opened the last shortcut to the Shadow of Yharnam boss. How do I know it was the last short cut? Because the dumbass I am was sitting on 76k blood echos and decided to explore just a little bit more when I ended up with 3 goth ninja asshats gang raping me in the swamp. 75,760 echos gone.

probably only about 30k or so. I recently started trying my luck at the game too and just got to the shadow of Yarnham part myself. I've been building up my player a bit and not taking any risks at losing them so I cash them in as soon as i have enough to level up a attribute.

Pretty sure I've lost a few hundred thousand before after some Chalice dungeon grinding.

Yea prior to today I had only lost about 30k myself. I’m building up my build also but I often think I can go just a little bit further. At least I didn’t lose the 75k parlaying an enemy attack and go off a cliff (sadly it has happened) lol..

same here. it was well into 6 figs in one of the tough Chalices, remember almost spiking my controller

Same... but that's nothing to the 2.3M souls I lost in DS1, granted that was on NG+++, and was barely enough for a level up or two

I did the same thing but only had 25,000 or so. 75,000?? Hope you had a spare controller.
