They'll probably wait.

Once WW2 flops they'll need something to sell next years game.

There's no way a CoD ever flops in the near future.

Yes it will, it's a Call of Duty game.

They've lost a huge percent of their players to other FPS games (Battlefield and Overwatch) and people playing those games aren't going back to COD. A less competitive multiplayer and shittier in game graphics doesn't exactly lure people in.

Infinite Warfare was a complete shite sandwich and it was still the best selling game of 2016. Yes. I know it had MWR attached to it.

COD WW2 will be the best selling game of 2017.

I promise this next cod won't fail.

How do I know? It's mother fricking wwii. Its the setting we've been asking for for years. I know several people, myself included, whom haven't bought a cod game in 3 or so years. We've all pre-ordered the $100 version.

No need to release a re-mastered game with this release. It will most likely break every COD day 1 record to this point. They've finally given the players what we've been asking for years. I wouldn't even want them to release a re-master with this game. For one, MWRM was in some way a huge letdown for me. No fault of theirs, it's just the nostalgia of it wore off very quickly. Some things are best left to memory. Secondly, I would feel cheated (even having experienced MWRM) because I most likely would never spend any amount of time at all on a re-master if this WWII delivers like it should. My .02.

I bought the crappy space game with the remastered game just to play something with boots on the ground. I had never played MW. Wow what an outdated piece of crap game it turned out to be. Sorry but after about 2 hours i was done. Hoping the WW2 game brings some of the magic back but not sold on sledgehammer games making it. Im thinking treyarch's next boots on the ground , next year, will be the one that gets this back to the good ole days.

I saw this week that a stand alone release is incoming. The price is 39.99 which is ridiculous.

Yea, I can agree with that as well. As much as most of us hate the futuristic sky-walking BS this series has been putting out, it was like taking 50 giant steps back playing MWRM boots-on-the-ground. The series has really came a long way. At the time, 12 years ago or whenever, MW4 was the greatest game I had ever played hands down. It's what got me into this series. But the speed of that game is so dumbed down to every game out nowadays that it was just unplayable for me. A happy medium, that's what we need. Lol.

Haven't bought a COD game in 4-5 years. This is a must buy for me.
