I was studying for my final today and I saw this installed on my laptop (no clue how). So I started playing it. I missed this game. I'm probably gonna wind up playing Frontline and Rising Sun on GameCube later as well

I completely agree. I believe this is the last one I played. I remember they had European assault or something like that for the original Xbox and it was basically what call of duty turned out to be. Just grenade after grenade after grenade.
Then they came out with one for the Xbox 360 with multiplayer. And it was just god awful. Then they had the one set in modern times I believe. And that was even worse.

I really liked Rising Sun but it was incomplete. The main antagonist makes off with your brother on the last mission and then the game just.....ends.

The gameplay in the MoH games was great, but I just didn't like how the single player missions were solo with no allied computers around mostly, especially after seeing saving private ryan as a kid.
When CoD (the original) came out, I flipped my shite. I think I beat campaign 3 times on day 1.

That was the one thing I wish the MoH games had done differently. In every single game you were a one man army who was constantly going behind enemy lines all by yourself. I can understand the original Medal of Honor. It was the first game in the franchise and it was meant to capitalize off the success of Saving Private Ryan as well as the FPS success of Goldeneye. Jimmy Patterson was essentially an American, World War II version of James Bond. But they should have changed up the formula after that initial release.

I logged into steam a few weeks ago and the first thing that popped up was a notification that I had a free game waiting, and MoH:PA was the game.
Not sure how it would have gotten there on it's own, did you get this offer as well and just don't remember?

Was watching Band of Brothers for the first time, and they did Operation Market Garden. And I remembered playing MoH Frontline and doing that mission in game. Might break out the PS2 after finals and replay the campaign
