Madden 25 freezing problems on xbox one

The one from last year, not the new one.
Anyway I'm playing the career mode and 8 games in and the fricking game keeps freezing up in the last two minutes of the game. Can't get past it....restart and resume my game then it just freezes after the next play is complete.
I've already restarted my game all over once and it is still happening.
Any solutions?

I'm starting to believe it's EA. It does that to me in NCAA every time I get in season 2 of an offline dynasty. This last time I got the #1 class & even created a few players such as Toliver & Iman Marshall, and Guice as well. Got all them, and now I can't advance out of the preseason of season 2 to play with them. 
Ain't touch it since.
