Madden 16 Franchise as a created player

Anybody do the franchise mode as a created player?

I played a few season with full control of a team, but recently switched over to just controlling my guy. Made a undrafted QB. I wanted somewhat of a challenge, so I didn't make my guy the instant starter. I went to the Eagles, because I figured I could earn the starting job rather quickly. By the end of the preseason my rating was 78 and that was good enough to win the job. Been tearing it up and will likely be the league MVP. I was pissed off after losing a game and decided I was just going to go on a full out air attack. Ended up throwing for just over 700 yards on a billion attempts.

Anyway, was wondering if anyone had done this and completed a season. What is the offseason process like with re signing deals with other teams, etc. What else is there to do in the offseason with your player?
