Loot Crate?

Anyone here partake in this? I thought about it if not for me, then for my son but was never sure if they were truly worth it. What other "x" Crate things do they have out there?

I've order one called myboxfromjapan. It's more anime oriented but the same idea. They have sites that review the different boxes, like mysubscriptionaddiction. You may find a box that fits a certain area you like. There are a few that send a box of retro games (nes,genesis,snes,gameboy) which looks pretty cool to me. There's a few different ones so I'd research has them first to see which is best.
Loot crate generally has good reviews from the ones I've read.
I thinks it's a fun thing to do occasionally. You have to be the type of person that's just happy to get anything.

I've done some research on sports crates (more of my thing, although I am a huge gaming person). I think Loot Crate would be more for my son. He's into all the Marvel comics and things like that. Me, I just like to play sports videogames and FPS games. However, through my (limited) research, it seems that the sports crates just aren't worth it. Alas, I will continue to look and see if I can't find one that fits me.

Loot Crate was OK but it was a lot of stuff I didn't really want. Try Nerd Block. They have different ones you can choose from each month.

I just started my sub for Loot Crate last month. The January theme was "Invaders." X-files.. war of the worlds.. that kind of stuff. It was very underwhelming, but that genre isn't my thing.
The Feb theme is "Dead" and is suppose to have Deadpool and Walking Dead stuff in it, so I'm excited about that one.
I've seen a lot of cool stuff come from it, so I'm going to try it for a year and see what I get.

I did lootcrate for a few months. For an adult, all the shtt was tacky and junk. If you are a kid, teen or buying for a teen its really cool.

It's not gaming related but I've been getting a Cairn box for a year now and have never been disappointed. You really have to do your research and decide which is best for you. Cairn is unique because they tailor your box to your likes. They don't just send the same box to everyone.
