Metadata intact, so it's unlikely this is photoshopped.

How does this make it real? Because it is next to a MacBook Pro and Wii U remote?

Is this some kind of corporate suicide attempt by Nintendo? I'm struggling to understand the logic on this one. They got a huge introductory surge on the Wii due to a bunch of non-gamers buying that thing. Then by the end of that generation their sales had fallen since the newness wore off. Additionally their game sales numbers were atrocious since those non-gamers basically didn't play anything beyond Wii Sports and Wii fit. The non-gamer audience was ultimately not a success.

Yet they keep releasing hardware that won't work for most gamer's primary console? Like who is their intended market here? If I am buying only one game system (and I choose this), then I am giving up on ever playing a huge percentage of the major AAA games.

As we've all learned playing emulators and other apps on the iPhone, not having physical face buttons just FEELS wrong. This is a mistake.

It's a portable version of the NX, which could possibly be used as a controller for the console version.

This is a successor to the Wii U so that is almost certainly just the controller.

Of course Nintendo is also vulnerable on the hand held size since the New 3DS! has had all of one relevant game out for it.

This. It looks bad....

But so did the DS. 2 Screens? Why Nintendo!! There were memes that future consoles would just increase screen count.

I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. That and I assume multiple peripherals again, which I actually don't like.

1. I don't get the dual analogs with no physical buttons besides triggers/bumpers.

2. Never put charger and headphone jacks on the bottom of portables. People like to rest the portable against their waist/lap when sitting.

3. WTF with that design. What purpose would it serve? Is this a rear view mirror for Dirt 3?

The 2 screens on the DS I kinda like in retrospect. It was really weird on release but it actually works for a lot of games.

Yes it does. I love having the map layout on the bottom while gaming on the top screen.

Seems legit.

Honestly though, I don't dislike the intial design. Not having physical buttons seems like a mistake though.

I could live the the circular design though I don't really like it, but if there is not a real controller somewhere then this may take Nintendo out of the non-handheld console market.

Nintendo has filed patents that hint at dynamic haptic touch points that are embedded within the screen itself.

So, we could be looking at something like this:

I love how there is a literal P-Touch Brother label maker label that just says "confidential property" as that somehow makes this legit.

And he plugged shitty ear buds into it, and shows that port, yet does not show the side on the original "leak" where the charger/data cable was plugged in so we could see the ports.

fake
