FF 9 is also my fav game of all time as I have said numerous times here.

Stealing can be a major pain in the arse on some enemies, if you are a perfectionist like me. Like take up to 300 times pain in the arse.

Never had too much trouble. Stealing Mage Masher was the most troublesome in terms of attempts that I remember.

I think one of those worm things in the tunnels was like that. You could beat it real easy, but it wouldn't give up the good item for a ton of tries.

I've surprisingly haven't had problems stealing. I did learn bandit early on which definitely helps.

Dang. You're moving along.

What do you think about it? I have to imagine that you'd really like it.

I played it back in the day. I actually fired up my old game on my PS1. It's at 92 hours and I'm at the Chocobo forest, so I would have no idea where I'm at in the game lol. I want to beat Ozma the go around so I've been grinding a lot and trying to do all of the side-quests.

I havent had any trouble stealing until the end of disc 1. I gave up trying to steal the mythril sword from beatrix after half a dozen attempts

Even with this on, I still remember it taking forever.

I think the only decent thing I haven't stolen is the Ice Staff.

LINK

A Graphics mod for FF VII. Was watching some guy streaming the game and noticed it was polished, better graphics, HD-esque, etc... He gave me the link for it.

Gonna give it a go tomorrow. Game looks MUCH better.

Where did you find that RPG link?

Also, y'all have me wanting to either play VIII or XII right now. I just finished X and VII a few weeks ago when I was fricking around.

Sorry should have been more specific.

That link to the guides. Pretty awesome.

I was actually able to remember this game on SNES that I played one time when my parents mistakenly picked it up when I asked them to get Link to the Past. (I told them Zelda 3.) Instead they brought home Ys III: Wanderers from Ys. Ended up being a pretty fun game from what I remember, and I've been trying to figure out what the name of the game was for almost 2 decades. All I remember was the look of one boss and the cover of the cartridge. Thanks to your link I was able to find it.

I guess I've always been a Gamefaqs guy. But when I was in middle school it was Happy Puppy and CheatCC. That and whoever had the latest issue of tips and trick you get out pencil and paper.

Anyways sorry to get off FF subject. Like I said you guys have me all worked up to play and now I don't know which one I want to go through.

Shiiiiit, when I was in middle school, we got a pen and a piece of paper from our mom and copied shite out of the guide books Walmart was selling...
