Mario bates and the flesh eating virus on his face

IRv Smith terrible pick in 93

This is all reminding me I've been a saints fan way longer than an lsu fan.

The long history of busted draft picks in the organization and Irv Smith is the first one that comes to mind?

You are starting to sound like all the "die hard" cowboy fans. Take the Fluer de leis glasses of for a minute. our defense has earned and demand respect this year. didn't give up a rushing td until wk 15.
If you think this will be a cake walk you will be sorely mistaken.

Man this thread got ghey real quick.

Rooting for the Saints but very aware of the Niners ability. Will be a tough one. If Drew is on though and the defense can get through that young line we could be in for a W.

56% Saints
44% Niners
IMO

Sproles is going to be key. If the Saints can't get the downfield passing game going (wind, field condition, and 49ers D being a factor), the underneath and screen passing game is going to have to be exploited a lot. I don't see the Saints flinging around like they've done all year round, but still think they can score more points than San Fran.

The next year, the Saints drafted a running back named Mario Bates and made him the primary ball carrier. Neal, who never regained his speed back after the injury, was relegated to the role of blocking fullback. Let's just say he didn't take too kindly to the move. One night, when Neal and Bates were at the same bar, Neal continually told the rookie that as a veteran he was entitled to drinks at Bates' expense. When Bates refused to buy, Neal slugged him, breaking his jaw and putting him out of commission for four weeks. Although Neal wasn't disciplined by either the team or the league, the incident remains a black mark in Neal's career.
