Not a nerd hater. Just don't know how anyone can consider a video game a sport.

If as many people who watch NFL football would watch LoL it still would not be a "Sport" in my eyes.

They hold singing competitions that millions of people watch. They are highly competitive and it takes lots of practice and talent to be successful. Are they a sport? Absolutely not.

Same goes for Chess. Highly competitive, takes talent and practice. Not a sport.

I suppose they made this change to open up regulations on funding and such matter. Either way, I don't give a shite what they classify it as. As long as the scene/industry keeps growing I'm all for it.
