Just started MGS Phantom Pain

Holy shite, when does the cutscene play end? The game looks beautiful but damn...I'm 50 minutes in and it's still cutscene, little action, cutscene.

TPP has the fewest cutscenes relative to gameplay in the series 
The first hour is a glorified cutscene. Won't see many more after that. You're also playing the worst MGS game (well MGS4 sucked but for nearly the opposite reason to TPP).

Interesting game. I can say its the first and only base building sim / open world FPS I've ever played.
Not a Metal Gear game though.

Ive been playing it bits at a time over the past year and while the story sucks I love the gameplay.Its disappointing there are not any bases as large and dense as the base in Ground Zero. I wonder what could've been if Kojima had been able too finish it.

It's by far the best Metal Gear in terms of gameplay. I had a really good time with it, with almost 100 hours put in. People get salty over the story, but it's an incoherent mess so it doesn't really matter to me.

I think most of it is the crawling part. For the first 30 minutes you're just watching a cutscene and doing that terrible crawling. Makes time move like molasses. I'm cool with cutscenes if they add something and I expected some going in but holy shite. It was all of an hour by the time I got to actual gameplay.

Man, so hard not to spoil anything for you. But your reaction to the Hospital Escape mission makes me wish I was sitting on the couch with you when you finish this game just to see THAT reaction.
I think I enjoyed MGS1 and 3 more for their time, but yeah that's about the sum of it.

lol go play metal gear solid 4 and watch thee hour and a half long cut scene in the middle of the game when he meets big momma with literally no action at all
god mgs5 sucks dick. i don't think they could have came up with a less interesting plot line then the one in this game. i just coudlnt' get into it. i mean if i'm going to invest 100 hours of my time into something i want it to be for a legit fake cause that i give a shite about. like saving the world from nuclar disaster or somemthing. i don't give a shite about your fricking base. you can kill every last one of the people there for all i care.
quiet's titties are a nice bonus tho
