Just ordered PES 2016 for my nephew.

He's really big into soccer and plays in the FC Dallas little league organization. I did some research and it seems PES 2016 is a much better game mechanically and plays much more realistically than Fifa. I got it for a better price. I guess I should have come here first, but was this is a good idea? He owns previous Fifa games.

Yes, PES passed FIFA in gameplay and mechanics last year, this year the gap is even wider.

While PES may be more in depth, depending on your nephew's age and skill level, he may struggle a bit. PES has a higher learning curve, and he likely already knows how to play FIFA with friends.

More people play FIFA....by a large margin.

While there might be better mechanics and graphics, you just got him the 2nd tier game in terms of "coolness"

I asked his mom if he uses it to play with friends online because I was concerned about it. She said he only plays halo online and mine craft. He's only 9. I think coolness is still a few years away.
