Training is worth it, the new community training is even better.

Just play the game and have fun. When you see people doing shite that you want to do, go try it until you start to get it.

For starting, don't go full speed all the time! Control is more important that flying into a pack of cars to try and hit the ball for no reason. Also, you're going to suck and miss a lot of easy shite. This goes back to the have fun part, laugh about it and do better next time.

Don't always try to hit the ball. On offense, if a teammate is already trying to get the ball out of the corner, set up for a shot on goal. On defense, try to anticipate where your opponents are going to shoot from and be prepared to clear the ball.

Do those things, and you are better than 75% of players.

Can't stress this enough, seeing people chase their teammates and miss out on easy shots from crosses pisses me off.

Play 1v1 vs AI in season.

You will improve across thay many games.

While at slow speeds, clear to the sides in your own goal. Center ball in your opponent's goal.

A good firm high spees center clear can get you or your team a safe breakaway goal.

God this game is so fun. When I have teammates that're good on offense, I'll sit back and play box-to-box but focus on defense and being an option to pass back to in order to set something up. But as soon as there's a turnover, I'm hauling arse back to play defense.

Some games I get in the zone and I'll look like the honey badger out there.
You're on Xbox One huh?

I can teach you how to play if you want. I'm decent and have about 600 hours in the game.
