I felt it was a better overall experience compared to The Last of US.

I think the only thing TLoU did better was its story. Not to say Days Gone is bad… it’s just an 8/10 instead of a 10/10.

The overall gameplay for Days Gone towers that of TLoU imo. I felt like it was one of the better open world experiences I have had period. It was never overwhelming and it was just enough. The locations were beautiful.

Solid cast of characters and voice acting to go along with them.

I don’t think I ever fired and automatic weapon. If I did it was because the story forced me to…but I don’t recall it ever doing so. I only used my long range rifles, my pistol, and crossbow/sniper for the entire game. Hoards were fun….seriously.

That feeling when you turn on a generator and didn’t catch that last loud speaker.

Just another game solidifying my choice in Sony.

Once it gets rolling it’s pretty enjoyable, but I remember getting my arse kicked often early on. It’s a shame the sequel got canceled or at least shelved for the time being.

I remember buying this game and playing through it during all the negativity surrounding TLOU2's launch.

I enjoyed it quit a bit.

Having gone back and played through TLOU2, I don't think it's necessarily fair to compare the two.

I would say that I probably had more fun playing Days Gone. I'd say the plot of both games were comparable in quality.

its certainly an under appreciated gem.

i dont think a comparison is fair as they are different styles of games really.

i would definitely give the nod to TLOU as the better game for me. better polish and story. i prefer the methodical sneak approach in tlou.

I don’t remember any crazy bugs during my playthrough but I played it way after release.

I played it when it was free on psn, so maybe two years or so ago. It was unplayable in certain areas. Apparently the pc port was substantially worse.

That game needed like another year of polish before they released it.

At launch it was a buggy mess, so it got shite reviews.

Played it with the free pack they gave away on my ps5, ran perfect, never had a problem. Sucks because they canceled any sequel before the game was even working.

Absolutely loved it. One of my favs. Played it through a few times. Super bummed they cancelled the sequel.
