Anyone here played Last Remnant? I've been wanting to play it since it came out, but never got around to it. I saw where some places didn't give it good reviews

Yes. It got some bad reviews because of the 360 version was broken. It had so many technical flaws (screen tearing, slowdowns, long loading times, crashes, etc.) that it got hammered. Even moreso, because each battle can become very long, very quickly. This makes normal gameplay frustrating as if you die, you're forced to replay a 45 minute long battle over a single mistake.
The PC version fixed a lot of those problems, but it's still has some issues. That said, it has a lot of cool innovative ideas in the battle systems and with the characters/classes. At its best, it's very enjoyable and cinematic giving you a good balance of action and strategy.

I would pick it up for cheap. I got it in a Square bundle for like $10. Came with a bunch of other stuff, but I wouldn't pay more than that for it.
