I downloaded a word processing program and extracted it with winRAR. Now everytime I click on the iso file to run the program, it brings up roxio (a cd burning program) and wants me to burn the file to a disk? Is there any way I can just open the program from the iso file or do I have to burn it to a disk first?

You have to burn it to a disc using a program like DeepBurn.

Yep, that works too, but if you don't know what your doing it can get a tad testy.
