ones with Ravangers and Thunderjaws. Gonna try to get the rest tonight. I'm super close to platinum

That's the hardest one by far. All the others are fairly easy.

but I realized halfway through the game that I just wasn't doing it much

Once I got the ability to call one at any time I used that a lot. I would often go rising on one and try to take down big game like behemoths. Most of the time it didn't work

A few of them were pretty tough, like the ones with Ravangers and Thunderjaws

I just did these last night. Tough as hell but probably the most fun I've had playing the game so far and that's saying a lot.

I was just randomly walking by that particular trial and was about to shut it down for the night. I see Ravager vs Thunderjaw and figured I'd give it a shot. Needless to say....I was not prepared.

I agree the trials are really fun. I did not find any of them overly difficult.

This game is a really easy platinum btw. I did everything except for knocking over the training dummies on accident.

I might attempt a platinum. I haven't with a game in a while. I started this first playthrough on hard and it really isn't that bad.

Yeah I probably had to restart each of them no less than ten times. I kept trying to override the Thunderjaw, but I could not get close enough. That's when I decided to just use the Thunderjaw discs.

I didn't dive into them too much, so maybe I missed this, but is there a quick restart to the trials, or do you always have to go back to the main guy?

I'm at 61% with all mission I an find done, the only thing I didn't do was the trials. I am sitting at level 42.

I'm at 47 so shouldn't have a hard time getting to cap. The last bit I leveled up like 3 times so maybe I'll just do that again.

You always have to go back to the keeper.

Probably another reason I hated doing it.

But it shouldn't make you go through the entire dialogue again. It starts you at the beginning of the trial when you choose which zipline to go down.

Finally finished the trials at the first area and went to Meridian to finish that quest line. That was a lot of fun. Hoping the other hunting trials are not as frustrating as that one. For some dumb reason I was having the hardest time doing the log roll challenge. I'd either not be able to trigger them in time or the machines wouldn't go where I was trying to lead them.

Got to 50, halfway through finding all the training dummies (in the process found another village I missed and two more side quests). I'll do the trials last and then re-do the final mission to get platinum.

Side note on the side quests (SWIDT?), the one I started last night seemed like a typical fetch quest at first, go to these two posts and bring back this flower, but I go, nothing is there, so it tells you to go back to the quest giver. I had to log off then, but I know it's going to open up another layer to it and that's what I love about these. I don't get the complaining from some here about Horizon's side quests. I really haven't been bored with any of them and wish there were more. I can see myself starting another playthrough after platinum.

Nice good work! Yeah I felt the same way about the quests. They definitely add to the story. I'm gonna play through on new game+ after I finish Just Cause 3. Apparently the rare weapons have 4 mod slots in NG+

I should put more effort into the mods. I quit messing with them at some point and my inventory is full of purples.

Interestingly enough, I've never had a weapon that fires ice arrows. Haven't avoided them, just never came across one. Sell all of those crafting materials constantly.
