I need to focus on one thing and do that till its done. I have about 50 hours in this game and im like 45% complete with game. I think im gonna focus on getting all the vantage points and metal flowers and collectibles and then go from there.

Its a good place to begin. It gives you a large area of exploration. The only vantage point I have left is the one on the upper north portion of the map. It's guarded by a bunch of stalkers and watchers.

I've been trying to do all the side quests and find all the towns before I finish up.

I've been on the fence about buying this game. I'm super bored so I'm thinking about it currently. Please Gaming Board, push me over the edge on why I should, thanks

Buy it if you want to lose hours to it. It is a fantastic game. I'm playing on the highest difficulty and it has been more than challenging enough, but not too challenging where it isn't fun.

On that note, fought the Thunderjaw in the cauldron and that fight sucked.

It's really good. Fun combat, beautiful graphics, interesting story (so far - I'm 30 hours in).

It's big and there's tons to do, but I actually like that it's not quite as gigantic and dense as something like witcher 3 is.

The best way I can put it is this... I NEVER finish open world games, I usually get bored after a couple of days and I move on to something else. I have put in almost 60 hours in this game and I have no plans of stopping until I platinum this bitch... although I will slow down a bit when the Show comes out next week

I'm about to start downloading it, now. I enjoyed Fallout and got about 95% done. This sounds super unique so I'm gonna do it

I would say that it isn't as technical as Fallout, but the world is beautifully crafted and the enemies are extremely well done.

I would highly recommend it to anyone.

There was a moment last night that I was doing a side quest tracking some footprints and as I came over a hill, the full moon was above me with clouds passing in front of it. I sat there and watched the moon disappear behind a distant mountain with the wind blowing the trees. It was one of those experiences in a game when you know you will be heartbroken when you get to 100% completion.

Was going for the vantage point in the top middle section of the map. Got past a bunch of machines and climbed a big mountain. Then out of nowhere, cutscene and fight with storm bird. Pretty sure I missed the vantage point and ended up in hell. Now when I die it goes straight back to the cutscenes and storm bird fight, fml.

That fight and mountain climb is meant for a near endgame mission.

I fought the stormbird early too. But if you are having trouble just jump down again and it won't follow you forever.

You can get the vantage point later.

I'm done with everything but the main quest, including the achievements. The main story is great. I want to punch Ted Fero in the face and then light him on fire.

Once I started finding out info, I had to keep going.

SPOILERISH (I guess)

Fero is not only the bringer of the apocalypse, but he is a massive dick and I hope he is frozen somewhere so I can shove an arrow through his windpipe.

You'll understand that sentiment after a few of the other main quests.

SPOILERS

Sylens made sure there's DLC and/or a sequel baw

Two things: I'm not entirely convinced Apollo is totally destroyed (HADES apparently has a lot of knowledge) and I'm also not sure if the space expedition actually failed. What if succeeded and there are humans living on another planet? What if they are advanced because their copy of Apollo protocol was intact?

Beauty of this narrative is they can go in a ton of directions. Brilliant conceptual work by the devs
