Headset really do make the difference in FPS and other games

I set mine up and while watching some CS:GO I could hear the footsteps from where they are coming from. I know I am behind the times by a few years, but damn it's a game changer.

I have yet to invest. Don't really know what kind to get. To me, the one that came with my XB1 works fine.

I finally got a sony gold wireless set and omg.
I used to wonder how people could tell I was sneaking up behind them and now I know. teh footsteps.
I can get a >3:1 k/d now while eating a sammich when I used to have to try before.

Yeah they are great for fps games. If you have bloodborne use them for it, it's crazy all the weird shite you can hear with headphones in that game

Download the headset companion app for the Sony gold ones.
They have custom sound settings for a few select games. Last I checked they had them for Bloodborne, destiny, and COD. There's a few more but can't remember them off the top of my head
