Halo Wars: Definitive Edition question

I have never played a Halo game, and supposedly the campaign on this is good, but how long does it last and how hard will it be to play it solo?

It's probably around 10 hours and you're meant to play the campaign solo.
It's a great game too.
I just played three Skirmish matches and it's still as fun as it was when it initially released.
