this is great to know. my brother in law said not to stand it up even though it was meant to because it can frick the disk up or something

Yea, leave it laying down. If it is standing, any vibrations or bumps could result in a scratched game.

First one is original xbox, right? Don't know if they ever uploaded the patch for it to play on the 360.

yea, i would recommend keeping it off the floor also. the fat 360's little fans work hard enough as it is and dont need ddust bunnies sucked in to make it harder.

Basically treat your 360 as you would a child with immune deficiency. Treat it like a bubble boy.

Hmmmm...didn't know that. The first was original Xbox though.

Yep. I ruined a new copy of Red Dead Redemption. Luckily I had a friend that worked at Gamestop hook me up with another copy.

I do know that they had a few original xbox games that still needed a patch to play on the 360.....one of the Deus Ex games being one of them. But at some point, they just quit doing them.
