It was more so the entire last quarter of the game. The levels became so cheap and frustrating that it almost ruined the entire game for me.

Uncharted 2 didn't start to feel like that until the last couple hours or so, but the final couple of chapters with the bullet sponge steroid monkeys with the near-one-shot kill crossbows was almost worse than anything in 3. Final boss was much better in 3 as well -- primarily because there wasn't one.
