I gave it a few minutes. It seems good although I didn't care for the control scheme they chose. That may get better if I played more though.

So after playing it for a while, I think the best comparison is Way of the Samurai. Each person you fight is a capable fighter and you can't just blow through them. You have some speed/burst in your combos or evasion, but it's about picking the right weapons and stances to take down enemies. Parrying of course works very well.

Really had a lot of fun with it.

Played it a little bit today. It's fun but getting one-shot by a normal mook is a bit much.

Armor drops are pretty generous. You shouldn't be getting one shot for long.

Combat system is great. Love the different stances. Haven't mastered ki pulses yet but in general the stamina system seems cool.

Your starting gear has literally no defensive properties. It becomes much more manageable as you get gear.

Finally mastered ki pulses and stance-switches in combat towards the end. Beat the boss. Started the next mission and called it a night. I raged a few times. It's fun, but def needs work. It shouldn't be so hard to fight multiple enemies. Broken weapon durability system and shitty loot leads to inventory clutter. Games need to do like the Ninja Gaidens and Bloodborne. Give you a handful of weapons to master. Don't need to have 70 katanas in my inventory at the end of a level.

They don't explain dick either
