FIFA 16 my player/career mode

I am thinking about getting FIFA 16 and I only play the my career (player; not manager) mode. Have there been any significant tweaks to the mode this year? Or is it similar to FIFA 15?

You can finally train your players including your youth academy players. Its really useful and it has lead me to playing career mode a lot this year.

They also added two year loans and pre-season tournaments. A lot of nice changes imo.
