presentation - 9.5

gameplay - 9.5
lasting appeal - 10.0
overall - 9.5

quote:

Thankfully, FIFA 12 has not innovated simply for the sake of it. The gameplay innovations greatly improve the way FIFA plays. Matches unfold with a more authentic tempo, taking it much closer to the real thing. Revolution? Evolution? Who really cares. More importantly, is FIFA 12 the best football game in the world? I don't think so. But I'd put it in my top one.

If you buy the game at GameStop you get to play in an online tournament and possibly win a trip to London to play in the finals.

FIFA is by far the best sports game year after year. I have played FIFA 11 since it came out and will continue until 12 releases on Tuesday.

I still play Fifa 09 every once in a while and I hate soccer. Fifa games are fun as hell, but I don't think I will buy a new one until PS4 comes out.

Have you played any of the games since? 09 will seem like nintendo to 11 and 12 is even better.

I was kind of aggravated that I didn't see any mention of Pro Clubs updates. Clubs is by far the best game mode imo, but there are a lot of simple things that they could do to make it a lot better. Obviously their focus is still elsewhere, and Pro Clubs again feels like an afterthought.

NOLA FC will be kicking off our 2012 campaign on xbox if anyone is interested in joining the club. We are a consistent top 10 team in North America, and our World rank is currently around 200 for 2011.

We are an established club with established players, so we are looking for guys to slot into other spots that make our club better. We are not looking for a guy that says "I'm a striker, and all I play is striker." If that is you, go play striker somewhere else. You aren't going to come to a top 200 team and just automatically start at striker. However that is not to say you wouldn't get an opportunity to show what you can do up front, but it won't be "because you played the last 3 games a CB."

We are looking to put the best team on the field according to who is online, so we tend to move around a lot and play a lot of different positions. We have a lot of good options in the midfield and up front, but your best shot at a starting job is on the back line. If you are ok with the fact that our best team might not include you playing at your preferred position all the time you will fit in well. Everyone is not always online, so you will get opportunities to play where you prefer also. You'd be cooler though if you preferred defense.
