Loving this game so far.
The music for the bulls/cows, for the cooks mission, was totally unexpected and pretty damn funny.
They also take a dig at the Patriots and their "deflated balls".
So far it's my favorite Far Cry.
Only one I haven't played was Primal.

I'm enjoying it, only have my first level of influence in one of the areas. Not sure I like the perk system, seems really shallow and an after thought. I know prior to launch people said that it would be more melee focused but I don't really get that sense at all. I saved up and got the special carbide with a big arse scope on it and using a fighter with a sniper... Half the time I just spot and prioritize his targets.
Anybody do the Clutch Nixon stunt plane side mission yet? The intro for it was pretty funny.

Wasn’t feeling the pvp though. The maps already are awesome, but the whole arcade interface and inability to select a game mode is just dumb. Why can’t they just have normal pvp?

First impression was like halo for me. Dumping clips watching people's health very slowly drop, get turned on and 1 shotted. Always 1 guy that goes 15 or 20-0 You get perk points for leveling though so necessary evil I suppose

Yea it was definitely odd. Have to figure out where the good weapons are in maps. Gameplay just felt clunky in pvp.
Biggest complaint though is I can't select a game mode to play and I can't select a map rotation of just ubisoft maps if I don't want to play user maps. I just don't get the logic behind this. If I want to play TDM, I should be able to select that and only play that. Unless I missed something, I didn't see any way of doing this.

I think the far cry arcade experience may become more robust with time. I look forward to seeing what people can cook up with those creation tools.
I’ve been too busy w the main story. Split coop host duty with a friend for the past two days. Probably stayed up a little too late exploring and unlocking perks/guns for hire.
I’ve dabbled in all three areas without taking out any lieutenants. Bout to take cheeseburger back to falls end to give John Seed a piece of my mind.

I love Far Cry but getting tired of tagging enemies and clearing outposts. It just feels so much or the same. Especially just coming off AC:Origins last December.

the co-op has worked really well so far. That has been very enjoyable.
My only gripe with the Arcade is the menu system is terrible. There is no game mode server you can pick. Since when does a game not allow you to choose what game mode you want to play? Their first improvement update definitely needs to include that.

I do too. I get why it has been taken out on local systems, but it really should come back for online co-op.
