I've been holding off on purchasing Fallout 4 because i would prefer to own it on PC, but my PC is still awaiting much needed upgrades... which may take some time.

Instead of waiting an eternity, how is it on PS4 and whats the status of this PC mod cross-platform functionality?

Run's really good on ps4 (aside from minimal framerate issues).

I'm not sure about cross-platform mod status but the PS4 version will get mods.

This also marks the first time that a Bethesda game on home consoles will support PC mods.

We architecture our system so that mods work. They work on Skyrim if you can get them on a console, Oblivion aswell. And Fallout 3. But there’s no way of getting them there. There’s still a lot of work to do. It’s going to come out on PC first, then they’ll move to Xbox One, then to PS4. There is a lot of work involved getting them onto each system.

As I heard it we're waiting on a modding tool from Bethesda which will be released later, until then we won't have mods on the consoles.

Console mods will be a toughy. There for sure wont be any graphics enhancing mods or one that require a script extender.

There should be mods such as auto perk and ones that increase your carry weight and such.
