ESPN E:60 - Throne of Games

if you don;t understand dota, don't bother reading it wont make sense. In fact, don't read it at all it's jsut gona be me whining for 3 minutes.

Im getting so frustrated with solo que. The level of blatant stupidity is unreal, and what's worse is i expect it to change from game to game. it never does.

For instance, last game on All pick, first picking Ursa, I had to buy and upgrade courier and buy every ward. I was in so many outnumbered fights it was unreal, most under tower and no one would even TP. team just didn't give a shite about anything but farming for themselves.

i finish 12/12/5, got 4 of their 6 towers and 4 of their 6 barracks by myself, three Roshan in a 32 min game and i had to auto attack the cheese because they wouldn't even walk their dumbasses down to pick it up. I was 5 levels higher than my entire team at the end. all for a whopping 11 MMR.

And somehow I'm supposed to be able to grind up from 1K?? I've got like 300 games played ever, and I reallydon't understand how people who have been playing for years can be so dumb and bad when it comes to teamwork and mechanics.

I want to start looking for a team to play with but not until i have like 1000 games in. i learn new techniques all the time so i should be pretty badass by then. Im playing a lot of easy heroes now like ursa, Wind ranger, Crystal maiden, Razor, Tiny, Sven. just to try and get easy carries and get up to 1500 range. Its just such an uphill battle ive gone from playing 3 games minimum per day to maybe 3 at most. This would probably be all i ever did if the community wasn't so full of individuals.

Yea i pretty much carry with Ursa every game but even if I get 30 kills teams still find a way to lose by being dumb. Then there's other times i get so pissed off i just go AFK jungle and give up. I despise when I get aegis and push a lane and nobody comes to help me push even after I ask and ping. After about 4 of those I'm just like OK you must want to lose, imma go jungle.

it's a combination of frustration from getting no help and wasting time. mostly all of these games can be won in 25-30 min and yet they always go to 45+ because no one is ever together, and everyone thinks you have to take EVERY tower.

See people split pushing in a 5 v 3 game. im just like WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING PUSH MID AND END 18 MINUTES FREE WIN. 25 minutes later they finally finish their split push and they all talk shite in chat " EZ" and we all get fricking 12-20 MMR. Im supposed to win like 100 of those to get to 2.5K? LOL.


ETA:: comm blocked again. im gona try a new strategy of, mute the whole team at the start and get in the habbit of not yelling at dumb plays.

Yeah. If you're 1K you're not doing something (a lot of things) right. And there is absolutely no such thing as MMR hell either, it's been proved countless times. You can own and get 30 kills by yourself at low MMR and think you're a god. We've all been through it. The truth is if you're not like 5.5k MMR or higher, you have a ton of things in your gameplay that need correcting. No matter what your MMR is, you never play a perfect game either.

This is the problem. I'm thousands of games in and still learn things on a regular basis.

You say you play Ursa jungle. That's probably not good in low MMR. Ursa really contributes nothing to your team early on, and if your team has the scores that you just posted, then that means they are getting completely fricked in lane. If I was at 1.5K and playing Ursa, I would carry a TP at all times and have my finger on the trigger ready to help even though it's not what he's most efficient at. Typically when I play a hero in the jungle, I do a skill build that is better for helping in team fights, not the one that's most efficient for jungling.

Example: Legion Commander. I max Overwhelming Odds first even though it's the worst jungle build. Personally I hate being ineffective in team fights at any point in the game. Ursa may be a little more strict because his biggest contribution is solo Roshan.

I can think of several heroes who are probably more impactful at that MMR though:

Riki
Huskar
Lina
Windranger
Spiritbreaker
Bloodseeker

Supporting is vastly underrated too. Supports have this reputation of being ward bitches, but they can rape the game.

5 wins in a row and then i run into this shite man.



And that's NOT even that different form the 5 wins either. It's literally every frikkin game. All any of these assholes do is cry in chat for 50 min about how the other person cant play and everyone's bad but them and none of their deaths are their fault.

two of the guys on my team their profile said they had over 1000 wins. How the frick do you play, much less win 1000 games and not know not to go on Wraith king unless you know you can kill twice? Un-real.
