If you want an MMO focused on story and not so much on gear and min/maxing, then this is the place for you. There is no floating damage, not a lot of UI tools, etc. On console you're kind of left in the dark, but that's the point, to focus on storyline and the experience.
I played Neverwinter until ESO came out, it's a nice MMO and they keep adding nice features. ESO is bigger and the progression is longer. I just got to VR 2 and Ive been playing since launch, so it's taken me a month. I feel like it only took me a couple weeks to get to end-game in Neverwinter.

You'll learn that Questing while, not nearly as boring takes forever to level up. I leveled up an ALT from 1-VR1 in a week. Factor in a day to knock out Caldwells Silver, and I could probably grind him to V14 in another week. But the grind is tedious, my brain isn't ready for the 2nd V14 grind. Would love for them to release console XP potions.

I'll be on in a bit. I'm just now lvl 12, DK on Euro AD. I made several initial mistakes but am getting it together now. I'm trying to slowly get my tank built and open most Auridon quests.

yeah, i screwd up my skill points on my first character. And luckily there is a town where you can pray to one of the gods(mara?) and redo all of your skill points.(cost gold coin). U can also change ur magic/health/stamina points, but u have to pray to another god, in that same room(statue).
Just waiting now, to get the last 3-5 levels so i can start using dwarven weapons and armor.

having people soften up ur targets does help.
i went with a group into a group cave, and we took a major beat down. it was 16 v 4, and all were level 40's, and the restoration mages kept healing their guys as we tried to do damage.
i had to finally run after dying about 5 times. we couldnt put a dent in them, and they were all level 40+++.
Are you on European sever? Ebonheart Pact ? If so, we'll grind some levels. I do enjoy going back to some places that are level 8 and doing 1 hit kills to find maple wood.

Any way of getting back to coldharbour?
I need ebony ore, and i cant find it to save my life in riften. And cant find a guild selling it.
I'm done with main quest, mage quest, and warriors guild quest. So i wont have a quest to go back, they said u can teleport people????

Go to the world map and zoom all the way out. Look at the far left. There's cold harbor. Zoom in and pick a way shrine
