Not sure if anyone follows competitive CSGO but Team Liquid (North America team mainly from the USA) plays SK Gaking (Brazilian Team) tomorrow in the championship round.

First time an N/A team has made the finals of a major tournament. Also believe it is the first time that no European team has reached the final of a major.

The owners of Liquid need to do whatever is necessary to keep s1mple on the team after this major. He elevates everyone else on the team and they play with an energy that they just cant seem to tap into without him. He left the team because he was homesick and missed his friends/family, if I'm the owners of Liquid I'm offering to move him, his family, and all his fricking friends to the US if thats what it takes.

Agree. The fact that this team has made it so far while only being together for a short period of time is amazing. The potential is so great. I would love to see this team stay exactly the same but it seems set that S1mple is departing. Unfortunately, Hiko insinuated in the post match interview today that S1mple will be departing regardless if they win the major. Apparently, S1mple has a problem with taking in game commands from others and likes to do his own thing at times when he doesn't respect the calls from the in game leader. S1mple has a lot of skill but that can only get you so far if you don't work with your team. The trade for JDM also help elevate this Liquid team. I was surprised to see JDM finally leave CLG since he was so close with the team members. That team (CLG) grew up together on the scene but it was the best move for his professional career.

Got to be awkward for pimp who will be replacing S1mple to be watching all of this.

Liquid is a top notch organization right now so I'm sure they can. They're doing a lot of things right now. They have an outstanding DotA 2 division right now with a mostly german team.
