Not really
There are enough cutscenes (I know you hate them), platforming sections, and exploration sections sections to add variety.
And it helped that the shooting maps were well-designed as to combine the platforming, stealth, and shooting.
The dialogue and story were also way out of Crysis' league
Even if you don't like it there's really no other studio that does what Naughty Dog does at the same level. Crysis 3 was standard FPS with really pretty graphics -- like KSF.

Yes I would agree the dialogue and story are much better than C3. Its great really, but at less I get to play a game with C3.

Depends on what interests you. If you want non-stop action, UC4 will have some boring parts. If you like some parts being exploration and some story exposition, you'll probably really enjoy those same moments.
Like any other game, some love it, some don't. It certainly isn't a bad game, though.

Yeah, the "help me up" sections were annoying. They had to have been there to mask load times because I can't see what ND would have thought they added to gameplay.
The rest of it didn't really feel monotonous, though, no. I really enjoyed exploring the maps in the jeep and boat. The combat maps gave you choice between several play styles.
The only section I didn't like was the tunnel section. In a game that has focused on a "wide-linear" structure to this point, let's throw the player in a narrow tunnel with twenty enemies and exploding fricking mummies.

Its tastes in games, some games just divide the user base because the play style is extreme in one direction.
Naughty Dog games are one of those developers which have done so with the UC series.

I mean, even Polygon gave U4 a glowing review.
It got great reviews because most reviewers thought it was a great game, not because they were giving Naughty Dog a "pass."
But, yeah, you're allowed to not like what's popular. It's a bit weird to see someone act surprised when someone likes something that's considered great by consensus, though.

Is that what 12 was called? Or is this something else altogether? I know their number for games can be different from ours.
