Do Stores Break Street Dates Anymore?

I preordered the digital version of Uncharted 4, but started thinking if I could call some Mom & Pop stores in town to see if they have copies available for sale. I know the bigger retailers supposedly have computerized ways to prevent sales of the game early.

ebay is the only way to my knowledge.

It happens quite a bit, and usually with mom & pop's.
I'm sure there's a way, if you knew someone, they could give you a copy whenever and just ring it up after street date.

Indeed. I've driven to NOLA solely to get a early copy of Final Fantasy XIII when it came out. That was from a GameStop too.
