Kinda reminds me of Bioshock with the supernatural abilities. Looks like its all hand to hand fighting, no guns in the trailer anyway. That feels weird in a first person games.

It has guns/crossbows.

I'm looking forward to this one. Not going to be able to play much of anything until semester is over, but come December, I'm going on a Arkham City/Dishonored/Uncharted 3 binge.

So far it's been good. Trying to stealth it all but some parts are hard. Really interested in the story. Your powers are cool, the heart thing is really cool when it tells people's secrets.

Go get it, my man. It's amazing so far. Reminds me of the old Thief games and Deus Ex. There's a tutorial mission that I beat an I'm on the first mission and its crazy how amazing the sandbox is. If there's something you see or somethinh want to do, chances are you can go there or do it. Drinking right now for Slim Thug concert, but I'll definitely be playing tonight. It was addictive. So many Pproaches to everything. My limited experience left a great impression.

This game kinda makes me think Deus Ex meets Bioshock. I think the implementation of the stealth system kinda fails. You can't take cover and move along cover like you can in pretty much, you know, any game with a stealth system ever. Graphically the game looks like something from 2008.

Those are my principal complaints. For the positives, the story has done a good job of pulling me in in the earliest stages, so that's good. It's also done a good job with dropping some hints about potential ways for the story to progress, but not in a way that is too heavy-handed. I enjoy the powers system and gameplay is generally pretty tight and fun, though there are a few other minor flaws that are more annoyances than anything real.

The reviews I've seen put the game in the ballpark of a 9.0 to a 9.2, but I'd say that's a little inflated based upon my initial impression. My first impression, I'd say it's probably more fairly scored in the 8.5 to 8.8 range.

Wasn't the original designer of Deus Ex also the designer for Dishonored?

Cover would make it too easy. They wanted the old school stealth feel, hence the lean.

Graphics are a bit lacking

The cover mechanics are there, i.e., you can use it to break up the line-of-sight of enemies and hide. So I don't think I understand why that's an argument, Carson. If the addition of a familiar gameplay mechanic that grossly improves the user experience proves absolutely game-breaking, that's what the development cycle is for. Add an extra enemy to each area. The steampunk equivalent to security cameras. There are many other things you can do besides handicapping the way the player interacts with the environment. By the same logic we might as well remove iron sights from FPS games because you shoot too accurately with that mechanic
