No way you get as many legs in a g rift. But to advance in the game it is all about the legendary gems.

I did my first rift yesterday.
Also, on my first time doing adventure mode, I had no idea what I was doing and I accidentally closed the rift while they were still in it.
Dude on there yells, "WTF! Don't close it yet!"
I immediately left that group.
Learned to never talk to NPCs that I didn't recognize.

So I played tonight and ran a rift only to find out the greater rift keys come from the RNG, I have enough experience in this game to know the RNG sucks. Just another way to sucker you into running the same content over and over to try to get lucky. It's sad because I was looking forward to something new.

it's set up that way so people can't just run t1 get a ton of greater rift keys and farm the greater rift bosses for the good gear and get geared up super fast. i'm actually ok with it. more of a challenge/ carrot on a stick thing
