Yeah I'm sure I won't use it much, but it might be fun to run 4 deep on Trials or Crucible with them. My whole clan pretty much has them now, because we ran about 4 Nightfalls to help everyone get theirs last night. It seems like this is one of the easier Nightfalls to get the quest done with. I think we finished with like 7 1/2 minutes left last night.

Run as a pack, and mess some people up.

Future war cult scout in incredible. I bet that thing will be amazing in pvp.

Tried nightstalker for the first time last night - definitely the most viable Hunter PVP build. The invis is a cool little ability, but holy tits the super is laughably terrible. Amazing that the "best" pvp build they get is hamstrung by easily the worst super in the game.

Anyone trying to run a nightfall? I'm sitting in the guided line but it's been awhile.

Gotta balance it somehow.

Hunters are terribly unbalanced in PVP.

They're vastly inferior to Titans and Warlocks to anyone that's half decent at the game. It's fairly frustrating.

That is what I was saying last night. It feels great.

For PVP I am not sure about it unless you want to run Better Devils. Since it is a scout in the energy slot.
It is the MIDA archetype so the same TTK as it without the perks.

Is this your first destiny game or just first time trying a Hunter? Ever since Bungie completely neutered the bladedancer class in D1, the Hunter has continuously gotten the shaft in PVP. You can be really good as a Hunter, but it does not lend itself well to the casual player.

I ran my warlock with two Hunters in last nights Nightfall, and it made it so easy. They could just cloak through to the gates, while I lagged behind and got destroyed by adds lol.

The nightstalker class can be a lot of fun for PVE. It's not near as good as it was in D1, but it is still really strong. The invis was great when having to revive people.

Then get use to it, thus is the Hunter life

I switched from only doing a Hunter in D1 to Titan for D2 and I've never looked back. The hunter is by far the most frustrating class to play as, especially whenever new updates come out.

Also, origin story may be solid if you're not a better devils fan. Or old fashioned.

I love the origin story. It is a great weapon for pvp or pve.

Yeah it does great on head shots, and the recoil is great. I infused it to 300 last night. Doing work with that and the Conspirator (Raid Scout Rifle) at 300 each.

As long as they're above 280 right now, it doesn't really matter much what light level everything is. I get the quest for max light, but as long as the weapons are 10 over the recommended light level, it doesn't matter if they are 285 or 300, they'll do the same.

Iron Banner that will change, but right now there wouldn't e a difference if you're running the raid or something.

To clarify.

You cannot be higher power than anything in this game. Everything will scale to your power once you surpass it. The raid is 280 at the end, that is why you need 280. So use what guns you want as long as you are 280 or higher.

But prestige nightfall is 300. So yes, 300 power is good there.

Correct. There is definitely a time where getting to 300 will be important, but overall people get way too concerned with power level for the normal stuff.

The raid LFG threads requiring light level 300 always crack me up.

Plus the Prestige Raid is right around the corner.
