I'll be getting it on PS3, just pointing out that the demo was on 360. You could see the indicators for Right Trigger, LEft Trigger and A.

Was it? Well, I'll get it for PC, so that makes me even happier

I was wondering if you could maybe circumvent the voice-chat prohibition with private/party chat on 360. If not me and my buddy will use Skype like we did on PS3.

actually if I get what your saying...use 360's party system while playing dark souls.
Great idea actually...I have done this before with another friend.

They had it locked down with Demon Souls because on PS3 there is no way to have a background chat going if it is prohibited in-game, but that is not the case with the 360.

The game has sections that you literally can NOT get past without grinding to raise your power first.
I hate games that do shite like that just to make the game take longer
I understand that the monotony of grinding isn't very appealing but id rather something like that instead of the scaled levels in games such as oblivion.
You can literally survive in just about every dungeon in the beginning of oblivion with enough potions etc. Its much more realistic the way demon souls does it. Its hard to find a game that actually challenges you so im against most forms of level scaling unless its only used slightly.

For realz. I'm getting Skyrim now. And that footage was PS3 gameplay.............
Can you play skyrim without understanding elder scrolls? E S graphics annoyed me too much.

Yeah they are pretty independent of each other as far as story.
All the history and background stuff does overlap though.

Posted on 9/14/11 at 3:28 pm to American Tiger
Maybe, but it will just be you opening crates or something. Easiest thing in the game

Early reviews from Japanese gaming magazine
Famitsu gave it a 37/40
Dengeki gave it 90/90/95/95

Yes, I am very much so looking forward to Dark Souls. This will get me through to when Skyrim comes out. These will likely be the only two games I buy for the rest of the year. I'll catch up on everything else I miss sometime early '12.

I'd like to play it but it's going to be one of those games where I'll wait for the price to drop.
